Leonis Pedestrian Tunnel under the 710 ~ Commerce, CA
From dystopia to utopia! Michael Che Romero imagined a magical reverse panoramic of blue skies and California Poppies and the VIVACHE crew brought it to life! I joined a team of 6 artists and we completed the mural in just over a month. This mural completely changed the daily experience of crossing what used to be a dangerous tunnel, for many people in Commerce.

Two 300ft x 15ft walls of community, history, and hope. These walls took about two months with a crew of 4-6 artists. The first wall was designed using stories collected from local residents and the second wall tells a story of past, present, and future.
